Dusk

Written by Kathryn Marchbank on Tuesday the 6th of January 2015
Quiet
forest of wood and wilds

Your leafy
petticoats lit by earth's moon

And her
hemisphere of journeying stars

Where above
silken bluebells

Arboreal
hearts beat your pace

And native
feet dance a chorus

In faun
jackets and auburn hair

It was
amongst nature's treasures

We stole in
to shades of copper darkness

And palms
pressed close

Our lips
made kisses and our minds made love.
