I've been an obsessive image maker ever since I picked up my first 1 megapixel digital camera. My need and desire to document the world around me, combined with my interest in design and online publishing drove my initial interest in photography before I started to take the medium seriously. Previously a lover of the English language, I turned to photography as an ambiguous medium of expressing what felt like intangible emotions.
Whilst I do work as a freelance photographer I still stay close to my roots as a fine artist, using photography in a variety of ways, whether it be the continuous documentation of life, or working on personal projects. Photography for me is not just an earner, but a passion that is impossible to switch off. I live and breathe visual imagery and am an obsessive file collector, storing away hundreds of thousands of images that to me are a digital archive of life.
